A Series Portraying the Realities of Black Women and Children in Brazil

These pieces were created by actress, doula, and physiotherapist Edi Cardioso in her ongoing research looking to address the issues of race/color, intersecting art and health as possible strategies in comprehensive care.

Part 1 - STOP KILLING US: Black Women and Obstetric Violence

This performance is part of the concluding work of the Specialization Course in Physiotherapy in Women's health by Ulfscar. It is inspired by the reports of women who participated in the research.



Part 2 - WOMB

A short video addressing the themes of justice by denouncing the murder and genocide of black children, also created by Edi Cardoso.
